Two mirrored heart forms carved from a single piece of rainbow obsidian, sourced from the volcanic highlands near Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico. This material was mined over 20 years ago and only recently shaped by artisan carvers in Magdalena, Mexico — a region known for its multi-generational obsidian carving tradition.

The result is exceptional: vivid bands of electric green, deep violet, and bronze shift across the polished surface as light moves over the stone. This level of color saturation and clarity in rainbow obsidian is increasingly difficult to find — the deposits that produced this quality material have been largely exhausted.
