Brittany Roughton, founder of Crystals.com

Photographer. Curator. Sourcer.

I have spent over a decade sourcing crystals and minerals directly from mines and gem shows across Brazil, Uruguay, Madagascar, Morocco, and the U.S. Every specimen on this site was hand-selected and photographed by me.

Nothing is dyed. Nothing is treated. Every wish list lands in my inbox, not a queue, and I reply personally with photos and pricing. If the right piece exists, I will find it. Browse our Collector's Edition for a preview, or explore Crystals by Color for inspiration.

Frequently Asked

Questions

How much does private sourcing cost?

There is no fee for the sourcing service itself. You only pay for the crystals you choose to purchase. Pricing depends on the mineral, size, and rarity. A $100 deposit secures your spot for gem show sourcing and is applied to your final purchase.

What is the minimum order for private sourcing?

Most sourcing requests start around $300–500, but there is no hard minimum. I source everything from a single statement piece to a full interior installation with 200-pound amethyst geodes. The wish list quiz helps me understand your vision regardless of scale.

How long does sourcing take?

It depends on what you are looking for. Common minerals like clear quartz or selenite can ship within days from existing inventory. Rare specimens may take weeks, especially if I am sourcing at an upcoming gem show. I keep you updated with photos throughout the process.

Do you work with interior designers?

Yes. I work regularly with interior designers, architects, and staging professionals on residential and commercial projects. I can source to match specific color palettes, dimensions, and aesthetic direction. For trade pricing, visit our Trade Program.

Can I see the crystal before I buy?

Always. I send detailed photos and video of every specimen before you commit. Nothing ships without your approval. Every crystal on Crystals.com is individually photographed — what you see is exactly what you get.

Do you ship large specimens?

Yes. We offer white-glove delivery for large and fragile pieces, including custom crating, freight shipping, and in-home placement. Free shipping on orders over $150. For oversized specimens, I provide a shipping quote with your approval photos.
