This large obsidian carving features two softly mirrored heart forms carved from a single piece of rainbow obsidian. Subtle iridescent bands of green, violet, and bronze appear beneath the high-gloss surface when viewed in shifting light.
About the stone
Obsidian is volcanic glass — lava that cooled too fast for crystals to form. Freshly fractured obsidian edges can be sharper than surgical steel.
