Turkish Lavender Jade (Turkiyenite)
Sourced directly from the mine owners, the only ones with access to this material iin the world!
An extraordinary mineral discovery, Turkish Lavender Jade—more accurately called Turkiyenite—is found exclusively in the Harmancık-Bursa region of western Anatolia, Turkey. This material is so scarce that it was considered an accidental find, with access limited to a single source, making it one of the rarest decorative stones in the world.
Unlike traditional jadeite, Turkiyenite is a complex metamorphic rock composed of jadeite, quartz, orthoclase, epidote, and other minerals, polished to a luminous, glassy luster. Its signature hue is a soft, ethereal lavender, shifting in vibrancy depending on light and angle—a color seldom seen in natural stone.
Prized by collectors and lapidary artists alike, Turkish Lavender Jade is celebrated for both its rarity and beauty. Each polished piece carries a singular elegance, balancing the delicacy of its pastel tone with the strength of its mineral composition.
