Pink amethyst, a unique quartz variety, owes its pale rose-lilac color to hematite inclusions, typically forming in geodes within the volcanic rock of Patagonia. Specimens with a vibrant druzy sparkle and a distinct, clean pink edge are especially prized by collectors, reflecting the rare geological conditions of its formation.
