Held on a simple stand, its polished surfaces invite a closer look at the intricate geological story etched into its stone, revealing how light catches the varied textures and hues.
Pink Amethyst, a rare quartz, derives its distinctive pale rose-lilac color from hematite inclusions, forming in geodes within the volcanic rock of Patagonia. First found in significant quantities in 2019, the finest specimens, often sought by collectors, feature clean pink edges and vibrant druzy sparkle, primarily sourced from Argentina's Neuquén Province.

About the stone
Amethyst's purple comes from trace iron irradiated naturally inside the quartz over geologic time. Heat it past roughly 400°C and the purple turns golden — most commercial citrine started life as amethyst.
