Pink amethyst, a relatively recent discovery from Patagonia's Neuquén Province, is distinguished by its rose-lilac quartz colored by hematite inclusions. Collectors seek specimens with a pronounced druzy sparkle and a clean, vibrant pink edge, showcasing its geode formation within the host rock.

About the stone
