White Howlite Crystal
Howlite is a borate mineral discovered in 1868 in a Nova Scotia gypsum quarry by Henry How, the chemist it's named after. Naturally chalk-white with grey spiderweb veining, it's so often dyed to imitate turquoise that undyed white howlite has become the rarer sight.

It's incredibly beautiful. Love that different aspects of it are highlighted in different lighting - in a bright setting you see a million tiny quartz on top that you would never know were there in the lower lighting setting.
